Pure love pinoy version

ABS-CBN will be doing a remake of the hit Koreanovela Pure Love (aka 49 Days) which was shown in the Philippines 2 years ago. The ABS-CBN Philippine adaptation will star Arjo Atayde and Alex Gonzaga.

Arjo Atayde confirmed his team up with Alex Gonzaga in the Pure Love remake via an interview with entertainment site Pep.ph saying that he was surprised with the project

"Nakakatuwa, kasi alam ko na marami ang nakakapanood ng Pure Love noong ini-air pa lang ito sa ABS-CBN. Wala akong clue na makakasama ako sa local adaptation nito," revealed Arjo, who recently won Best Supporting Actor (Drama) in the 2013 Star Awards for TV for his role in the afternoon soap Dugong Buhay.
According to Arjo, he did his own research about the Koreanovela before they start taping for the show, which is scheduled for airing early 2014. He also said that it was a dream come truefor him working with his long-time crush Alex Gonzaga.

The roles of Arjo and Alex are still kept secret but rumor has it that Arjo will be playing Dave Han (originally played by Jo Hyun-jae) while Alex will give life to Dianne Shin (played by Nam Gyu-ri).

Fans are also excited to know who will play the equally important roles of Ysabelle Song (originally by Lee Yo-won) and the Scheduler (played by  Jung Il-woo), as well as the pivotal roles of Raymond Kang (Bae Soo-bin) and Kayla Shin (Seo Ji-hye), who betrayed Dianne.

Are you excited with Pure Love ABS-CBN remake? Keep posted for updates about the rest ofthe cast.
